garden details

The pollinators are hard at it: the garden is suddenly growing apace.  This time last year, we were looking at all the work that had been done, all the plants that had been put in, and thinking: hmmm, is that it?  I suppose it'll grow, but ... And now, a year on, there are purple flowers of various kinds (sage, lavender) everywhere, and the poppies are still blooming, and even the Meyer lemon, which has been suffering from a multitude of tiny leaf nibbling bugs, is about to burst into masses of blossom.

On a day in which I managed to get mysteriously little done, it's been good to see plants and creatures being productive, and establishing a role model.  Bzzzzzzzz.
