Could there be a mouse in the ceiling? Gramsci anxiously wants to know. We haven't heard any ominous scuttling, but admittedly there was a faint whiff of deceased rodent when we came into the house last Tuesday - it had dissipated by the morning, though. Grams doesn't seem unduly concerned, and we do have plenty of evidence that he knows what to do, should one dare show its whiskers.

Gramsci is an incredible climber (and mouser)! Hopefully, the last mouse--after her dramatic rescue--told the others to not enter this house.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'll pass on to him all the compliments ... I'm sure it *helps* to have the house smelling of felines. Today, he caught a Very Small Bug - and he was very pleased, and the bug was sort-of ok, but with a rather dented leg ... we put him/her outside, to wobble off ...
