When Grammy and Moth were at the vet's last week, she recommended that we get them an aluminum water fountain to encourage them to drink, and thus stay hydrated. So here it is! Gramsci has always loved running water (think: bathroom, taps) and so he was immediately fascinated; must have drunk his normal day's intake in about five minutes, and then stretched out on the floor in comfortable possession.
Moth has ignored it, steadfastly.
This water fountain for cats is superior to most for humans! Good for Gramsci for promoting the benefits of hydration!
ReplyDeleteI find it strange that he hasn't yet stuck his paw under the running water part - he's always doing that with taps. Moth is still resolutely indifferent (but of course, she has another water bowl if she prefers. She doesn't seem too keen on that one, either. She's missing the point ...)
ReplyDeleteMoth... and the late Walter Gomez both! we got Walt a water fountain but he never took any interest in it. For him, the joy lay in licking shower water from the basin and/or our limbs.
