winter shadows, winter foliage

I can't quite explain why I liked this light, this angle so much yesterday that I went back to re-take the image today (ah, the strange self-imposed rules that I've set myself for this blog, and refuse to relax ...) - I think it has something to do with the very muted wintry colors of dried foliage against a transformer box.  But that also places it head-on within the rationale (or one of the rationales) for starting the blog in the first place: to find beauty in the everyday; to make one (well, make me), attentive; to practice looking.  That still seems to me a pretty central part of the practice.
