It's St Hubert! Who was hunting in the Ardennes, and saw Christ appearing between the antlers of the deer he was chasing (a lovely, kind, sympathetic deer, as depicted here - I'm sure he spared him after that). Strangely, this large statue adorned the house of an C18th money lender - I can't see the connection.

Much large-scale and over the top Art Nouveau, on the many, many large-scale buildings here. Prague was hardly bombed at all during WW2 - apart from one American bomber that mistook it for Dresden ... - and so it's an extraordinarily intact central European city.
Beware of cockroaches if eating here, I guess ...
... and an obligatory picture-postcard view from the river. It's hardly rained! which is a miracle - but it's very cold and grey - but completely wonderful.
