... but it didn't last long: I was just about five minutes into the drive home and it started to pour again. There should be some small respite, and then one last, heavy band tomorrow evening before we can collectively put away our umbrellas for a bit. And I've been navigating not puddles, but the students with transportation problems - so I had to switch today's undergrad class to Zoom, which (since I was in my USC office) was like pandemic teaching all over again, but without cats.
