There was just time this evening - between arriving home and it getting dark - to go for a walk, and this was the reward: snowy peaks of the San Gabriels catching some late evening sun. Sometimes, it's very hard to believe that this is Los Angeles ... and that this is the view we see coming out of our front gate.
