It was a very cabbagey kind of day: overcast, for the most part, and one in which you think that your work week is emphatically over, and it proves to be full of small nibbling bits of departmental business, after all. To be exact, I think this may be ornamental kale - and looking at the many varieties of Brassica oleracea that one can grow from seed, I think this is probably Nagoya White.
