It's our annual mini-break - a night at lavender-scented Los Poblanos - this time under lowering skies that never actually dropped anything other than a huge rainbow. I managed to finish my third chapter - well, chapter draft, I suppose, before we hit the road south ... but at least, third of three this summer., so have now collapsed into a little chardonnay fueled heap.
