some bits of Prague!

It's St Hubert!  Who was hunting in the Ardennes, and saw Christ appearing between the antlers of the deer he was chasing (a lovely, kind, sympathetic deer, as depicted here - I'm sure he spared him after that).  Strangely, this large statue adorned the house of an C18th money lender - I can't see the connection.

Excellent anti-Putin protest, on this church.

Much large-scale and over the top Art Nouveau, on the many, many large-scale buildings here.  Prague was hardly bombed at all during WW2 - apart from one American bomber that mistook it for Dresden ... - and so it's an extraordinarily intact central European city.

Beware of cockroaches if eating here, I guess ...

... and an obligatory picture-postcard view from the river.  It's hardly rained! which is a miracle - but it's very cold and grey - but completely wonderful.
