Suddenly, my Wedgwood rose is bursting into bloom. It's a magnificently thickly petalled climbing rose - which I pruned down to basics in the winter, bred and named in honor of the Wedgwood pottery's 250th anniversary in 2009. And it's also beautifully scented - if it ever warms up enough again to make one want to linger outside ...
