It was good to feel warm outdoors again! And even if I was on an urgent expedition to buy cat food, I was able to stop and admire the shadows left by the iron tables and chairs outside of Gelson's - a shop that may sell very over-priced produce in general, to be sure, but it does stock Applaws, which is young Gramsci's absolute favorite. I particularly like the tiny bits of brown that emerge in this: they weren't at all deliberate, but something I only saw once I downloaded the image.
