The temperature may only be a few degrees above freezing, but it was really very pleasant wandering around the garden in the early morning, with the golden-ness of the sunlight accentuated by the fact that the clouds were really quite grey. The dessicated lawn has revived, I'm glad to say, and the roses are still in full force.
