the chile farm

A couple of months ago, the geraniums in our LA front window trough were looking very unhappy and ragged (then we discovered how to turn on the timed watering system, and they have cheered up enormously).  But to fill in the gaps I planted three chile plants - from left to right, jalapeƱo, lemon chile, and peruvian white habaneros (there weren't any straightforward chipotle available - but who knows what I might do with the white habeneros?).  They are - touch wood - doing splendidly - flowering and fruiting - and I'm excited to see what stage they'll be at by mid-August ...
