flash fiction

I suppose that the time may come when I don't see little messages from the world of Flash everywhere - but it's not yet.  Here's a workshop on writing Flash Fiction - very brief fiction (and yes, I do write a paragraph or so about that - Chapter 4, when I'm dealing with flash and all kinds of speediness - flash floods, and flash restaurants, etc) that's being advertised on the noticeboard at Whole Foods in Durham.  This must be one of the very few pieces of Flash advertising that doesn't incorporate a lightning bolt as its go-to graphic.  I don't know what to make of that - maybe the message is that the little stories will go off with a flash and a bang, like a small bomb.
