world hijab day

... as it was being celebrated on campus day.  This was the first World Hijab Day, held very much in the spirit of worldwide religious freedom (and that is not, emphatically not, the same thing as the "religious freedom" being written about in the draft legislation that's been put into circulation this evening - if there's one thing that I like about the Trump administration, it's how leaky it is.  Except I become anxious that the leaks are deliberate, designed to deflect our attention from whatever else may be happening).  One was being offered the chance to don a hijab, and have one's photograph taken wearing it - although who this guy is who's being interviewed, and why, I don't know ...
