I wish I could say that this morning's rather spectacular rainbow was auspicious, but the weather carried on throwing rain and thunderstorms at one all day - not least when I headed into town to renew my driver's license. Driving back down I 25 the hail started - and I was like Oh No - Not Again! - but it wasn't like yesterday's apocalypsihail.
I'm sure the rain barrels would have collected lots of rain if they hadn't blown over in the strong winds: here's the side of the house looking like a Swiss cow barn.
and then, in the dark of this evening, the whole sky lit up with lightning once again.
Since I see that snow is threatened for some of tonight - snow?? in May?? - spare a thought for me getting back to LA, and to lots of meetings.
