under the blue New Mexican sky

I don't often take a photograph that gives me such pure formal satisfaction as this (Cafe Fina, this morning).  The defining feature is that downspout - which is when one realizes that yes, New Mexican (and Greek) blues are, sometimes, exactly the color of the sky.
