Why, yes. Not as much as one might think, perhaps - and certainly nothing like last night's torrents - but certainly enough to make the tumbleweed sprout (alas). After our walk (this was taken from Descanso Road) we sat in the dark and watched the light show for a while, whilst the cats cowered.
