It was a long week (boosters, meetings, grad students; for Alice, teaching, and for me, finishing an article - well, ok, I have to tidy up the footnotes and make sure that everything has UK rather than US spelling an punctuation conventions, but it's basically Done). And - it is Moth's birthday! So we went out to dinner. If you haven't been to Bacetti - in Echo Park - do! It tries to be very like a Roman trattoria, and tastes like it, too. And the choice of rosato wines is excellent, as well (says she, with half a radicchio salad, and a whole bronzino, happily inside me). We were only sorry that Moth couldn't be with us, because I'm sure she'd have enjoyed some bronzino, too.
