Mexican sunflowers

... or Tithonia rotundifolia - new to me this year, and in looking them up, I realize that I've been over-nurturing them: apparently they really thrive  in dry soil that lacks nutrients, and I've been cherishing them in a pot.  They'll join the plants that I'll be transferring to flowerbeds in a week's time, and trusting (really?) that it will perhaps rain, occasionally, over the next couple of months.  They are a very robust orange: I may well try growing them from seed next year.
