I know that this really doesn't cover many of the major food groups, but it's really hard for me to go to Sweet Lily - the cafe just by the O'Keeffe Museum, and hence very close to the Research Center, that's owned and run by our next door neighbors here in Eldorado, and not have one of their green chile scones. They were super-busy - although nothing like last week, apparently, when an article in the Santa Fe New Mexican last week brought (well-deserved) hordes to their door. Next time, for me, a panino ... I saw some being brought out, and they looked terrific (but I'll bring a scone or two home, all the same). Green chile might count as a vegetable, perhaps?
