This rather more careful piece of painting is somewhere in the farther reaches of Glendale - on Magnolia - where it starts to run into Valley Village. Valley Village is an area I've barely heard of - I just checked on line to make sure that I had its existence right, and it seems to be in the news because a woman woke up there yesterday to find a naked intruder in her house. That wouldn't, admittedly, be much fun. The junction box is highly decorous and decorative again - although, once again, enigmatic on close inspection. This Japanese-ish woman seems to be holding a cat - fair enough - and a coyote with a halo. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
