Anyone know what they're doing to the Education School Building? (and, for that matter, how much it will cost? I imagine it scraped through under the current financial year's accounting: right now, we can't even get clearance to organize/reserve a room for the start-of-year graduate welcome back breakfast, or at least not until July 1st).
I've been wondering all day what this reminded me of: I think there was an illustration in R. J. Unstead's Looking at History (a book that I loved, but never actually owned, when I was 8 or so) which looked something like this: a medieval castle/fortification of some kind. Or for all I know the construction of the Pyramids. But if the former, maybe they will make some holes for the pouring of boiling oil (an unpleasant practice that always fascinated me) on enemy heads as they go in under the portcullis.
