Honestly, when one gets up and has this straight out of one's living room window, one might reasonably question why one travels ... although the presence of a police helicopter overhead for about three hours, booming out the message to "put down your weapons," rather spoiled the tranquility (later spotted: a Honda being towed, and a police cruiser behind it.  The Citizen app suggested that two women and two men were breaking into a house up the street - but no more information was forthcoming on any site.  That's the thing about LA: an Event, of whatever kind, that one might think that one could trace down easily online is as though it's never happened - nothing on NextDoor, nothing on Ring, and nothing further on Citizen).  But apart from that, it was a peaceful day ...
