Oh, the wreckage, the devastation ... to think that if the National Guard and the Marines hadn't been sent in (etc etc etc). The lies of the President are so gross, backed by too much of the mainstream media, which still gives scant coverage to all the completely peaceful and utterly justified demonstrations taking place against ICE, against the occupation forces, and so on. Yes, there's a lot of graffiti. Yes, I did see the mangled wreckage of one of the Lyme electric scooters lying at the side of the 101, where it had been dropped onto a police cruiser the other night. But I'll say again, and again, the reports of Los Angeles being on the brink of complete lawlessness are beyond exaggerated. Not so, though, the reports of Feds/ICE arresting people: take a look at this, from earlier this morning:

In other LA news, coming into LAX, there's a tent/booth set up by the entrance to the Uber/Lyft/Taxi corral, saying Welcome to LA, and they - whoever "they" might be - seemed to be handing out little food gifts, and there was a HUGE black Standard Poodle, with fine topiaried fur, offering - offering emotional support petting opportunities?
