... at least, that's what I hope is going on in our campus building, home to both Art History and English. Both of our departments have leaky roofs - English perhaps more disastrously than Art History, but we too have, under the third floor flat roof - not collapsed ceilings, but some ominous brown spreading water stains, and some actual drops that descend in heavy downpours. English fares much worse, with, by now, inbuilt water features and fallen plaster. We've been told that we'll have to vacate some of our offices over the summer - I suspect, looking at this, that my colleagues on the fourth floor are already displaced.
