rural England (and the Watts Gallery)

One cat (Charlie), looking like a skunk, leaving the window in my cousin Peter's kitchen (and many thanks indeed to him and Kate for wonderful, wonderful hospitality);

sheepies! - on a country walk in the fields opposite their house, and a footpath sign;

then up to the Watts Gallery in Compton for the Pre-Raphaelite watercolours and drawings show - works from the Ashmolean.  Here's a terrific way of displaying wild flowers growing there, so that one can identify them ...

approaching the entrance to the gallery;

and finally, the view from the pub carpark in Compton where we had lunch ...

... which all amounted to a day saturated with the very best of rural Southern England (plus art ...).
